What's
On?

There’s always something happening at Hope Street.
From creative workshops and wellbeing sessions to peer support groups and community events, our calendar is full of opportunities to connect, learn, and unwind.
You can find our full weekly schedule below.
Monday
10:30-12:30
Join us every Monday morning for music and singing, friendly for those with dementia. Music can help dementia patients to express their feelings and can even inspire certain memories. Encouraging everybody to have a dance and some social interaction also reduces distress and acts as a relief for both those with dementia and their family members.
12:30
We understand how incredibly challenging it can be to look after someone with an illness such as dementia. You deserve time for yourself to process emotions and relax alongside others who are going through similar experiences to you. Come along to our friendly support group for a drink and a chat.
14:30-15:30
18:00-19:30
You don’t have to deal with grief alone. Come along to one of our welcoming sessions for a coffee and a chat with others going through similar hardships to you. A mental health nurse will also be on hand to offer you all the support you need.
Tuesday
15:00-17:00
Attend our meet-up for those with Autism so you can find members of your local community in similar positions to you. Have a coffee and cake in our safe and cosy cafe – it’s a chance for you and your family to really relax.
17:00-19:00
This trauma-informed session takes into account your lived experiences and allows you and others in your community to treat each other with sensitivity and kindness. Our relaxing cafe is open to anybody who wishes to attend.
17:00-19:00
Our lovely mental health nurse is available for a coffee and a chat – just pop in if you need to talk. You don’t deserve to be alone with upsetting thoughts and we’ve made getting help as easy as we can for you.
14:00-16:00
Support to help you get back to work. Held once a month.
Wednesday
11:00-13:00
Lift your spirits by singing along with the brilliantly talented Hayley Holmes! Singing is known to produce endorphins in the brain and to relieve stress, so is perfect for a mid-week relax. Whether you want to get up at the front and give a performance, or sit back and listen to the jolly music, it’s a session of good fun.
13:30-14:30
Join Kelly David of West Lancashire Borough Council for lifestyle change programme ‘Walk This Weigh’
